Community Guidelines
Nebula is a space for reflection, insight, and personal exploration. Our platform brings together people seeking guidance and advisors offering spiritual perspectives — and that connection works best when it’s grounded in respect, safety, and clear boundaries.
These guidelines outline what’s welcome on Nebula, what isn’t supported, and how we protect the well-being of everyone involved.

What’s Welcome on Nebula
Nebula supports interactions that encourage self-reflection, understanding, and personal growth.
This includes:
- exploring emotions, relationships, and life patterns
- asking reflective or open-ended questions
- discussing spiritual topics such as astrology, tarot, and intuition
- engaging in respectful, thoughtful dialogue between users and advisors
- curiosity, honesty, and personal exploration
Nebula works best when conversations are approached with openness and mutual respect.

What’s Not Supported on Nebula
To protect users and advisors alike, certain topics and behaviors are not supported on the platform.
This includes requests or content involving:
- instructions for self-harm, suicide, or harm to others
- violence, abuse, or threats of physical harm
- sexual content, sexual exploitation, or explicit behavior
- manipulation, coercion, or attempts to control another person’s actions
- medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other type of a professional advice requiring licensed professionals
- illegal activity or guidance that could cause real-world harm
- requests to share personal contact details or move conversations outside Nebula

Respectful Conduct
All interactions on Nebula should remain respectful and considerate.
We do not support:
- harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language
- intimidation, pressure, or repeated boundary-crossing
- personal attacks or demeaning behavior toward advisors or users
We welcome feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts with us respectfully and through the appropriate channels.
If you have any concerns about an advisor’s qualifications or performance, we’d love to hear your constructive feedback through our channels. This helps us review concerns thoughtfully and continue improving the experience.

Safety Comes First
If a conversation involves immediate danger, threats to personal safety, or severe distress, Nebula is not the right place to seek help.
Advisors are not trained to handle emergency or crisis situations. In those moments, reaching out to local emergency services or trusted external support resources can provide the care and protection you deserve.
You can find a list of external safety and support resources here.

What Happens When Boundaries Are Crossed
When these guidelines aren’t followed, conversations may be paused or ended, and further steps may be taken to protect the platform and its community.
If something feels unsafe or concerning, you can report it. Reports are reviewed and handled with discretion.
How We Protect Our Community
Your privacy and trust matter to us. Conversations on Nebula are personal, and we don’t review them as a routine practice.
In limited and clearly defined situations, our team may need to review isolated portions of a conversation between a user and an advisor – only when this is necessary to protect the community, address concerns, or ensure compliance with these guidelines.
This may happen only in the following scenarios:
- When we need to investigate potential violations of these guidelines or applicable laws
- When we need to prevent fraud, abuse, or harmful behaviour on the platform
- When a user explicitly asks us to review part of a conversation
In all such cases:
- We perform a review only when it is inherently required by the nature of our services and cannot be replaced by looking into the analytics, performance, cookies, or other types of data
- We review only the isolated relevant excerpts of conversation
- Only a limited number of authorised team members have access rights to perform a review
- We take steps to protect your privacy and keep information secure, including data pseudonymisation, access management controls, confidentiality safeguards, adequate technical controls, and strict internal procedures
Any review is limited to assessing whether platform rules and safety standards were followed. It is not intended to evaluate personal beliefs, opinions, or individual styles of guidance.
In some cases, de-identified patterns identified during the review may help us refine our guidelines and safety standards over time.
Need Help or Have Concerns?
If you experience behavior that feels inappropriate or misaligned with these guidelines, you can contact our support team or submit a report.
Learn more about reporting here.
What Happens After You Submit a Report?
After you submit a report, you’ll receive a confirmation.
Reports are reviewed to understand the situation and assess whether there may have been a violation of our policies. Some reports can be reviewed quickly, while others may require additional context or follow-up. If more information is needed, we may reach out to you.
While we may not always be able to share details about the outcome, your report helps us review concerns and improve how we keep the platform safe and respectful.
